Digital B Presents (November, 1995) A half-hearted collection of dancehall tunes produced by Bobby "Digital" Dixon. Only "Place in Your Heart," one of Garnett Silk's better songs, and Beenie Man & Leroy Sibbles' "Original Full Up," a rendering of the "Full Up" rhythm made famous by The Mighty Diamonds' "Pass the Kouchie," are worthwhile. I wanted to like songs like Bounty Killer's "No Argument" and Gregory Isaacs' "Easy" -- the latter of which utilizes Barrington Levy's great "Murderer" rhythm -- but they just didn't do a whole lot for me. As a whole, very uninspired and uninspiring. |
