Original Version (Reggae Retro, 2001)

*GUEST REVIEW*
Are there any one-man bands in the field of reggae? Original versions as a whole gives the impression of being played by one person. This is a strange album. Normally reggae albums have a powerful message and riddim and make you want to dance. However this is lounge dub that sounds Casio cheap. It's an instrumental album that could easily be mistaken for a quirky soundtrack. Imagine a child playing with a reggae machine that has lots of samples, riddims and effects included. The child would make a few interesting tracks and many more also-rans. Original versions will be too twee and weird for most tastes. But if you like lounge music, are feeling a little quirky or need a soundtrack for your film then look no further. Coming to a Peter Kay sitcom sometime soon.
